Quiero mostrar todo mi apoyo al partido UNIDAD POPULAR en Grecia #Laiki_Enotita, en las elecciones griegas del 20 de septiembre ...respetando otros puntos de vista, claro. Es claro que con el corsé del euro, hoy Grecia no puede ser soberana para aplicar políticas en favor de su mayoría social, que habían sido ampliamientamente refrendadas por los griegos en las elecciones pasadas de enero y en el referéndum del 5 de julio. Reconocer este hecho a la hora de elegir el camino a seguir es fundamental, no caben medias tintas. Cuanto antes se asuma esto, mucho mejor.

El nombre es realmente evocativo, como el vídeo, inicialmente censurado por facebook, pero también digo:
-Es perentorio que se construya un movimiento político europeo contra el austericidio, operativo, potente, como el que ha esbozado Varoufakis, al que me hubiera gustado ver sumarse a Unidad Popular, (acaba de anunciar su apoyo). Están surgiendo fuerzas con planteamientos ilusionantes, pero hay que construir un discurso y una estrategia para cambiar la relación de fuerzas que existe ahora mismo en Europa. Hay mucho que hacer. Muchas fuerzas que sumar. El tiempo apremia. Y mucho.
-Si se quiere transformar la sociedad y el modelo económico que lo sustenta, es imprescinible, que esas fuerzas del cambio participen de manera decisiva en los mecanismos de creación de riqueza, reorientánolos hacia el bien colectivo. Hay que aprovechar desafíos actuales (sostenibilidad medioambiental, alimentaria, social, desigualdad) y convertirlos en oportunidades. Impulsando de verdad el empoderamiento y el emprendimiento social.
-Dejar el euro y adoptar el dracma no es un objetivo en sí mismo. Es la única opción para que Grecia emprenda su propio camino. Un largo camino para nada exento de dificultades ni de sacrificios. Sacrificios, por supuesto justamente repartidos. Es necesario prepararse, y hacer pedagogía, para un escenario que no va a permitir nuevos déficits, ni endeudamientos (cuando se impague la deuda, se cerrará prácticamente el recurso a la financiación exterior). Por tanto, será necesario explicar a la gente que el Estado tiene que funcionar con los recursos que genere el país durante mucho tiempo. Lo cual es una oportunidad para abandonar el círculo vicioso y perverso de la deuda.
-Os invito a ver el vídeo, en el que se utiliza la analogía de una fábrica abanonada. Claro, conciso, con propuestas concretas, inspirador, respondiendo a preguntas. De la vieja Europa tiene que salir el germen para una transformación global profunda. Así lo veo.
I would like to show all my support to the Popular Unity Party in Greece #Laiki_Enotita for Greece 20 september elections, and respecting other points of view, needless to say. It is clear that the straitjacket of euro doesn't allows Greece to exercise its sovereignty to apply policies in favor of the social majority, which had been supported widely by the Greeks in the last January election and in the July 5th referendum, with a clear "OXI" to "austerity". Assuming this fact is a key point in order to choose the right path to follow. "Third ways" or half measures don´t fit, really. The sooner we realize that, the better.
The name is really inspiring, like the video, initially censored by facebook, but it is needed also to say:
-It's a must to build up an a operative & powerful European political movement against "austerity", like the one outlined Varoufakis, which I would have liked to see joining Popular Unity party, (he just showed today, September 18th, his support). They are emerging forces with exciting approaches, but we must articulate a discourse and a strategy to change the balance of power that exists currently in Europe. Lots of work to do. Lots of movements and peoples to join. And time is short. Dramatically short.
-If you want to transform society and the economic model that is supporting it, the forces of change should decisively involved in the mechanisms of creation of wealth, refocusing them to the collective interest. We must seize current challenges (environmental,social & food sustainability, inequality) and turn them into opportunities. By promoting real empowerment and social entrepreneurship, for example.
-Leaving the Euro and adopting the drachma is not an objective itself. It is the only option for Greece to undertake its own way. A long way which means difficulties and sacrifices. Sacrifices, of course fairly distributed. It is necessary to be prepared, and raise awareness, for a scenario that will not allow new deficits or debts (not paying the debt, will practically close the way or being financed abroad). Therefore, It will be necessary explaining people that the state has to work with the resources generated by the country. Which constitutes at the same time an opportunity to leave the vicious and perverse circle of debt.
I invite you to see the video, which uses the analogy of an abandoned factory. Dynamic, clear, concise, evocative, answering questions. Old Europe has to bee the seed for a deep global transformation. This how I see it.
